Welcome to the Kayak Fishing League 2026 \u2013 your path to the Swedish Kayak Fishing Championship! This year marks the beginning of a new phase for kayak fishing in Sweden when it comes to kayak fishing competitions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kayak Fishing Magazine concludes the popular competition series \u201cKajak Fisherman of the Year\u201d which has been running for four years. The Kayak Fishing Hunt continues as usual, it is an online competition from March to September where the goal is to catch as many of the predetermined 50 species as possible around Sweden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Swedish Kayak Fishing Club launches a national \u2013 Kayak fishing league<\/a> \u2013 which is sanctioned by the Swedish Anglers Association. It consists of a number of competitions around Sweden for different species, starting in April and ending with a national championship final in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You decide which and how many competitions you want to participate in \u2013 each competition gives you the opportunity to collect points and qualify for the Swedish Championship final where the two best results count, while you also get the opportunity to participate in the club's valued meetings, where community is at the center and new friendships are made. All results are published openly after each competition and a compilation of rankings is updated continuously during the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
