The biggest change is how we handle participants in team competitions. It is now possible to collect and administer detailed information for each individual team member, instead of everything being at the team level. This means that you can control exactly what information is collected when registering \u2013 for example nationality, year of birth, membership number, telephone number or email \u2013 depending on how your competition is actually organised. Some organisers need very little information, while others work with DM, SM or federation-related arrangements where the requirements are significantly higher. This system is built to handle both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the same time, we have made quite extensive changes to the underlying logic around scoring and class management. Above all, to better support larger series systems and competitions where the rules differ between different classes or divisions. The goal has been to make Fishy Live flexible enough for professional events, without making the platform slower or more complicated to work with on a daily basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can now collect individual information for each team member directly during registration. For example, email, phone number, year of birth, nationality and membership number. For each competition, you can also choose which fields should be mandatory, optional or completely hidden, which means that registration can be adapted to the actual needs of the competition instead of the other way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is now possible to create your own scoring and rule structures for specific classes within the same competition. For example, a junior class can have its own rules for number of fish, handicap\/bonus or species restrictions while the main competition continues according to the regular structure. This way, it is possible to run \u201dmultiple competitions in parallel\u201d within the same competition without having to build separate structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>Team competitions now also support individual categories such as \u201cBest Junior\u201d, \u201cBest Female\u201d or similar, across all participating teams. These participants can compete according to their own rules and rankings while their catches still count towards the team\u2019s overall results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>We have replaced much of the manual handling of morning registration with a digital check-in system where officials can track participants, equipment checks and status in real time. This makes it much easier to quickly see who is ready to start and who is still missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>For organizations that work with competitions and season-based championships, it is now possible to build aggregate rankings across multiple competitions. The system can automatically sum points or results and create a single leaderboard for the entire series or season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>It is now possible to download all approved capture images from a competition as a single ZIP file with one click. It may sound like a small feature, but it saves quite a bit of time for organizers who previously had to manually save images for sponsor reports, social media, or post-competition compilations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>The system now supports more advanced trolling and sea angling competition setups, including \u201cBest of X Days\u201d calculations and larger weight limits. This means that more complex rules can be handled automatically without manual corrections afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/strong>We've also added a simpler tool to export clean and deduplicated email lists directly from competition data. This makes it easier to communicate with participants for upcoming competitions or during-season mailings, without having to manually clean lists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
