There's a lot happening in Swedish competitive fishing, and Fishy Live continues to evolve at the same pace. Here's a summary of some of the most important news and improvements implemented during the spring and summer.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the spring and summer, we have carried out one of the largest further developments of Fishy Live since the platform was launched. It has involved many new features, but also improving and refining what already exists. The goal has been the same throughout: to give organizers, clubs and organizations better tools to plan, administer and implement modern sport fishing competitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important part of the work has been the expanded collaboration with The anglers<\/a>. Together we have developed an app and complete support for sanctioned DM and SM competitions, from organization and series management to approval flows, administrative tools and automated participant invoicing. This means a significantly smoother process for both organizers and Sportfiskarna, while building a common foundation that makes it easier to develop new features in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also spent a lot of time on things that the organizers have requested. During the period, we have introduced cumulative (aggregated) rankings across multiple competitions, Top Fish leaderboards, a significantly more flexible class and points system, and a completely new competition timeline that provides a clear overview of everything that happens before, during and after a competition. This makes Fishy Live work just as well for the smaller club competition as for larger cups and series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The administrative tools have also been further developed. New reminder functions, improved report management, more efficient search functions and several smaller aids make the daily work easier for the organizers. At the same time, we have continued to develop the financial functions with better support for payments, accounting and financial follow-up, which provides a better overview and more transparent management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the period, we have also continued our work on GDPR and data protection, while our public API has been expanded with more options for those who want to integrate Fishy Live with external websites or other systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot of the development work may not be immediately visible. We have invested a lot of time in the technical platform and our internal tools. It is work that may not be visible to the outside world, but it makes a big difference in the long run because it gives us better conditions to develop new features faster and with higher quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most of the development has been focused on the organizer, but the improvements also benefit participants through smoother competition flows, clearer results, and broader support for different types of competition formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, we would like to extend a big thank you to all the organizers, associations, organizations, Anglers and participants who use Fishy Live. The feedback we receive, both when something works well and when there is potential for improvement, is an important part of the development. It is together with you that the platform continues to grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
