Swedish Perch Championships 2025 on the Baltic Sea - Grisslehamn!
Fishing is permitted within the entire marked area, both inside and outside the islands, except for protected areas.
The competition is open to qualified teams from the DM.

Training fishing:
Everyone who competes at our championships must have the same conditions, so fishing both as a team or individually is not allowed from 22/8 until the start of the competition on 6/9!
However, staying during this period is permitted, but then no fishing rods should be in the boat! So you only put your fishing rods in your boats when they are at the starting area!
Important information:
● Start badge with your start number is taken from the board after 07:30 and before the captain's meeting and must be returned no later than 17:30. Missing badge will result in washing up.
● Arrive early as there will be many boats being launched!
● All boats must be at the starting area before the start!
● At least one person from each team must attend the captain's meeting - Missing a meeting will result in a penalty!
● Measuring boards and starter bags will be handed out between 06:30 and 07:45 on Saturday at the starting area
● Life jackets must be worn at all times when you are in your boats and therefore when you are taking pictures of your catches (No life jacket - No approved catch)
● Livewelling of fish in the boat is not permitted! Fish can be stored briefly (= a few minutes) in a net outside the boat if there is no opportunity to register immediately after catch. The boat must not be moved at this time.
● Before the start, boats will be checked.
● Joint start from Grisslehamn Guest Marina after the captain's meeting (with starting boat)
● Registration of fish takes place via the Fishy app.
● Minimum dimensions 25 cm, mouth closed, downward rounding in cm, no folded fins and no hands on the head, tail coil or tail fins!
● Images saved on the phone cannot be used for registration! It is recommended to change the camera resolution so that it does not generate images that are too large (avoid long upload times!)
● The competition ends at 16:59:59. So registration of fish cannot be done after this time!
● Measuring boards must be returned cleaned at the marked location in the starting area.
● Prize giving will take place as soon as possible after the competition has ended at the Start Area.

● Live sensors not allowed (=live technology and all-round sensors also called 360-levels)
● Try as much as possible to dismantle your live sensors before the start. If this is not possible, these will be sealed by an official before the start. After the finish, the seal must be broken by an official. A broken seal will result in immediate washing.
The fish on the measuring board:
● Wet the measuring board before shooting
● The measuring board should lie horizontally on a flat surface
● Nose towards zero
● Dorsal fin "up""
● No folded tail fin - if it is folded, a deduction of 2 cm will be made!
● The fish should be positioned so that the center line is in the middle of the tail fin - Make sure the fish is positioned straight according to the attached picture.
● The fish can be held with one hand during the photo shoot if necessary, but must not obscure any part of the perch's top or bottom.
● No hand on head or tail coil/tail
● The picture should be taken from straight above
Ramps and car/trailer setup:
● Location: In connection with the Guest Marina in public parking lots (there is no separate parking lot for SM)
Other:
Control boats may be present on the lake during the competition (marked with orange flags). Drones may be used before, during and after the start of the competition!
