RULES
- • Documentation is done with the final measuring board, no other. Each team gets a measuring board.
• Live transmitters/active targets and the like are not allowed (if you have one on the boat, please notify the competition management).
• The 5 longest perch win (THEBIG5, OF COURSE) minimum 30cm.
• At the same BIG5, the longest drill wins (can be decided in mm), if the largest is the same, we measure the next one, etc., so register more than 5 fish if you can.
• Only one active rod per participant (more may of course be rigged in the boat).
• Only artificial baits (live/dead bait, angling and trolling not allowed).
• Recapture not allowed within the team.
• Distance between boats: Two casting lengths (at least 50m). Respect each other and do not block bays where there is room for more.
• All competitors must wear a life jacket, flotation suit, buoyancy aid or other buoyancy aid at all times from the time the boat leaves port until the boat returns to port. The competition management must be informed of any concealed buoyancy aid.
• Applicable sea rules and speed regulations must always be followed.
• In case of emergency, contact should always be made with the competition management as soon as possible (0708102722)
• At any time, the competition management can call and ask for a screenshot on the plotter/google maps.
• You are only allowed to fish in the final water, no other waters.
• One boat per team is allowed (kayaks and floats are of course exceptions).
• Prohibited areas must be respected, otherwise you will be eliminated from the competition.
All boats start together in the water. It is not ok to trail the boat after starting before the day is over!
• However, if you have to end the day earlier, you must notify the competition management BEFORE you start the trail and the result will be locked at the same time.
• We know from experience that some places get quite hot and there are usually quite a few boats there. Remember to show consideration for each other. Treat others as you would like to be treated. We are here to have fun!
• If you don't have a boat, you can fish from land, float rings, kayaks, etc.
• Disembarkation from a boat/floating vehicle must be approved by the competition management, call 0708102722.
• All participants must be sober during the competition.
• Deadman's grip is a must on those engines that have this, the team is responsible for ensuring that this works properly.
• All participation is at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for accidents and damage to persons and equipment that may occur to participants during and in connection with the competition, this also includes third parties.
• The organizer is not responsible for any deaths, accidents or injuries. It is up to the competitor to take out their own insurance.
• Line fishing is impossible as you are not familiar with the water.
• If you arrive late after the end of the day, the day's fish will be cancelled.
• If you arrive late to the captain's meeting/start, the boat will be checked upon arrival before the team is allowed to start.
• If participants/teams deliberately violate the rules, the competition management may unanimously decide to disqualify.
• If suspected cheating occurs during the competition, this must be reported immediately to the competition management. The suspected cheating must be documented with photos/film so that we can take a position. This must be done BEFORE the prize giving takes place.
• By participating, teams agree to our rules.
REPORTING
Documentation of fish is done together with the team's start number and the measuring board you receive at the captain's meeting. The minimum length for an approved perch is 30 centimeters. It is important that the pictures are CLEAR. There is no red area at the top of the measuring board, which is made of hard material and cannot be folded.
All reporting takes place via the THEBIG5 app, you should have received a new login for the final (if not, contact us).
1. You must report a picture with the measuring board and a picture of you posing with the perch.
We also need to be able to see a large part of the fish's cover to be able to determine recapture.
We recommend that you do not touch the fish at all when taking pictures.
If this is not possible, use as few fingers as possible (maximum one hand) to hold the fish in place during photography. The head, mouth and gill lids are always a prohibited area. This is for the best of the fish and to avoid pulling, pushing and tearing the fish to gain length. The caudal fin may be gently pressed together without damaging the fish.
2. The perches must always be reported in whole centimeters which are rounded down. If the measuring sticker shows 35.9, the fish must be reported at 35 cm.
3. Remember that the same fish may only be reported once per team. Recapture is deleted.
4. The fish must lie with the jaw/head towards the zero/stop on the measuring board and the belly must be downwards on the measuring board. The head should always be measured towards the zero and the fish's belly should point downwards. This is to avoid cheating and to always photograph the same side of the fish so that you cannot report the same fish twice. If the mouth does not touch the stop, we deduct X number of cm.
5. The entire perch must be visible and also the part of the decal needed to determine the length. If the perch is 30cm, it is enough for a little more than 30cm of the decal to be visible.
6. The photo must be taken directly above the stop (not diagonally from the right, for example). Photos taken at a questionable angle will be denied or have a deduction.
7. All fish should be handled carefully and released.

It is up to the contestant to be responsible for their own insurance.
