Fish Handling & Weighing
Fish are left at the designated location with a starting tag attached to the bag.
When the fish is submitted, it is transported by trailer to the weigh-in, which takes place on the terrace of the First Royal Hotel in front of competitors and visitors.
The weigh-in starts immediately and the competitors do not have to be present if they do not want to, however, the competition tag must be hung on the board no later than 6:30 PM where the day's weight is signed and the catch report is submitted.
The fish is measured, the tail fin is cut and weighed. The weight is written on the bag and placed in starting groups. The appeal regarding the weight must be made no later than 10 minutes after the weigh-in has been completed to the competition management/judge. The largest fish will be checked by the judge at the weigh-in. A fee of 1500 SEK will be charged for a protest regarding the weight.
A cleaning truck with x number of stations with water, lights and waste bags will be located near the terrace.
Those who want to donate their fish to charity should speak to the people responsible who will be on site at the cleaning truck after weighing has been completed.
On Saturday, a fish auction will be held where the surplus will go to the Childhood Cancer Foundation 50% Smolt release 50%

● A maximum of 10 rods may be on the boat. If more rods are found during inspection, the boat will be excluded from the competition.
● Pole parades and sledges with pennants are allowed.
● Fishing with dead bait fish is permitted if done using known methods.
● Transfer of fish between teams and outside competitors is prohibited.
● Max 6 Salmon/Trout may be weighed in / day. Minimum length 62 cm.

● Teams that violate the rules will be disqualified immediately.
● Any rule violations must be reported to the referee immediately so that action can be taken.

NOTE: All competition is at your own risk, which means: Each participant is responsible for their own safety, their boat, equipment and navigation during the competition. The participant must follow applicable maritime rules, speed regulations and ordinary requirements for good seamanship.
The organizer is not responsible for damage to persons, boats or equipment that occurs due to the participants' actions or lack of boat condition/safety.
