● This competition is trolling and therefore the boat must be in motion at all times while fishing.
● A maximum of 16 rods/team (incl. spare rods) are allowed in the competition.
● It is highly recommended to have flags on large screens
● Salmon (min. 62 cm) is an approved competition fish. Wild salmon may also be caught within the 4-mile limit.
● A maximum of 2 fish may be weighed in per team/day.
● All weighed fish must be caught by the team themselves. 
● Fishing with dead bait fish is permitted if done using known methods
● All fishing must take place on Åland public waters, teams fishing on Swedish waters will be disqualified.
● All boats must have a VHF, mobile phone and floatation equipment for all participants. 
● Approved fishing days must last a minimum of 4 hours. 
● The competition management consists of a representative from Eckerö Boat Association, Ronny Brännström, and a representative from an Åland and Swedish team. 
● All participation is at your own risk, each participating team is responsible for their own safety, their boat, equipment and navigation during the competition. Participants must comply with applicable maritime regulations, speed regulations and ordinary requirements for good seamanship. The organizer is not responsible for damage to persons, boat or equipment that occurs due to the participants' actions or lack of boat condition/safety. The organizer is responsible for ensuring that competition rules and safety information are clear but is not responsible for risks that are normal during boating and fishing competitions. 
● Changes to the crew before and during the competition must be approved by the competition management. 
● The points calculation is 20 points per fish and 10 points per kg.
