Two-day competition in Lake Hedesunda 25-26/7​

The elongated island where the campsite is located is located in the middle of the Dalälven River and has a bridge connection to the mainland on both sides.

Around the island you can enjoy boating, fishing, hiking, cycling and canoeing. There are several cycling, hiking, boating and canoeing trails. In the bay in front of the campsite is Hedesunda Fjärdarna, a unique wetland landscape with hundreds of islets, marshes and old forests. There are a wide variety of birds, including several species of woodpeckers, owls and many ospreys. The nature reserve is also an eldorado for wild animals such as moose, deer, stags, bears, beavers and lynx.
