Swedish Perch Open 2025 is over – Tobbe Larsson takes it home again!

Swedish Perch Open 2025 is over – Tobbe Larsson takes it home again! Yes, another fantastic perch season for SPERO is over and it's crazy how many skilled perch fishermen there are in Sweden.

The competition has captured incredible 44 perch of 50 cm or over! The two longest are both 52 cm and were caught by Tobbe Larsson who once again took home the entire competition this year with a total of 509 cm on his 10 longest fish. The catch Tobbe rowed the competition with this year is on par with what very few catch in a lifetime, 525251515151515050 and 50 cm. So we pay tribute to you once again, Tobbe, even for the fourth time in the history of the competition. Big congratulations!

In second place we find another really skilled perch fisherman, Daniel Hedlund, who caught 504 cm. The Suite 515151515050505050 and 50 cm is also absolutely magical! Big congratulations Daniel!

In third place we find Sinisa Vrkljan who has an extra good thumb with the perch in the Malmö canal, Sinisa fished a total of 503 cm with the suite 515151505050505050 and 50 cm. Really good fishing Sinisa!

Now we come to the youth class. Things have been heating up here during the last part of the competition. Two younger skilled anglers, Lester Norell and Tim Tahine, have changed hands at the top several times. Lester Norell emerged victorious from the battle and wins the youth class with a total of 430 cm divided between 464444434343424242 and 41 cm. Big congratulations Lester, great fishing!

In second place we find Acke Albrektson at 88 cm and in third place Acilia N at 84 cm! (Tim Tahine withdrew and has no results).

We really thank Rapala and Mogge Lewin who believe in the competition and act as sponsors. The winners will each receive a gift card of 10,000 SEK to shop with. We will contact you separately for this. Greetings Fishy Tech Sweden!
