Final - Crowd – B2B

Those of you who have managed to qualify for the finals in the Kayak Fisherman of the Year are welcome to the finals weekend in beautiful Vallebygden.
We compete for two days and it is the total length of 3 pikes and 5 perches that applies.

In this year's final, it will be back to the roots, namely Back to Basic – B2B!

To become the Kayak Fisherman of the Year, it is not enough to be good at fishing, you must be able to handle different situations such as being versatile and broad in your fishing, and we will test that in this year's final when the contestants will have access to a bait package with a twist. We will Live Broadcast this on Saturday 7/10 from 8:00 AM. We ship from the Gofish store in Skara.

When: 7-8/10 2023

Where: Skara - Skärvalång's water system. (A map is handed out at the captain's meeting where it is clear which waters we will compete in).

What: Back to Basic 3 pikes and 5 perches in total in two days.
We will fish in the beautiful lakes Skärvalången, Klemmen and the Baltic Sea. This has been adjusted, there will be info and a map at the captain's meeting.

NOTE Mandatory captain's meeting in the store Gofish, which is also the main sponsor in Skara, at 08:00 on Saturday. (If you miss the captain's meeting, you will be washed, so be there by 08:00 at the latest).

Lures: You use your own claws, jig heads, stingers and the like. You don't bring any bait with you, it's included.

Accommodation: We live in the hostel and we have the whole hostel to ourselves. (Valle camping). There are a total of 18 beds. The rooms have their own toilet and shower. Pillows and duvets are in the rooms, but bed linen is not included (can be rented). In the center of the house there is a large kitchen for self-catering equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and freezer as well as kitchen equipment.

For those of you who come with a caravan/motorhome, there are 4 pitches available most of the year from early spring to autumn and you pay directly to Linus/Åse. Close by is a service building with wc, shower, washing facilities and a simple kitchen for self-catering. Here there is also the possibility of emptying the latrine. Fishing rules:
The fishing water is closed for fishing the whole week before the competition, so no preefish, mao
fishing ban: 30/9 – 6/10.
The contestants solve fishing licenses themselves.
Only hand gear fishing allowed.
Live transmitter, Electric motor not allowed.
Not allowed with own baits. 

Controls will take place during the competition.
