Fishing from a kayak with artificial lures.

Electric motor not allowed in the kayak class

One person in each kayak.

A life jacket is a requirement and a drysuit is recommended.

DEPOSIT SM KAYAK:

Starting fee 400:- is paid upon registration (this includes a sanctioning fee to the Sportfiskarnas

competitive activity at 100:-).

REQUIREMENTS: All participants must be members of Sportfiskarna and be able to show their membership card.

TRAINING RULES

Fishing ban and reconnaissance ban for all participants from October 20, 24.00. Applies to both 08ABBORRE/DM and SM in kayak fishing.

When moving across the water to the starting location on race day, you may use all electronic aids you need to safely get to the start.

RMATION:

NOTE: Live bait not allowed in 08 Perch nor in Kayak-SM.

Start and finish are at the piers below Aronsborg.

There are two open ramps at Forsells väg.

Registration and collection of start cards and measuring board 07:00-07:30.

Captain's meeting 07:40.

Joint start at a leisurely pace (max 5 knots) 07.50.

Competition time 08:00-14:00.

Current speed limits and sea rules apply of course.

During the race, respect each other and keep a ”casting distance” from the next boat if possible.

A life jacket or other buoyancy garment must be worn at all times during the competition.

A dry suit is recommended in the kayak class.

Only fishing with artificial lures is allowed.

Fish on the measuring board should be photographed so that the length of the fish is clearly visible.

Head towards 0 cm, tail fin must NOT be squeezed together easily for length recording.

Part of cm is rounded down.

Minimum dimensions 25 cm and 65 cm respectively (applies to kayak class only)

Photographing and registering caught fish is done via the Fishy app, which is downloaded via Fishy.nu.

All fish must be registered immediately after capture.

Live scores will be reported on Fishy.nu, last report shown at 12:00.

Submitted photos received after 2 p.m. are not counted.

The deadline for protests must be in writing and submitted to the jury no later than 2:30 p.m.

AFTER THE COMPETITION:

Deadline for submission of result cards and measuring boards 14.20.

The award ceremony will be held as soon as we have the results in order.

Food and drinks from are included in the entry fee, we hope to collaborate with a Freds who will arrange

Free Lake Mälaren Stockholm.

The water inside the power line in Kalmarsandsviken is only allowed for kayaks, outside it is

free.
