1§ Name of the competition. 

BRÄNDÖ FISHING COMPETITION/SAARISTOUISTELU 2025

2§ Competition organizer

The competition is organized by LC Brändö-Kumlinge. The competition's income is used exclusively for charitable purposes.

3§ Right to participate

The competition is open to anyone interested in fishing.

4§ Participation fee

The fee is €50/person. Max 3 people in the boat. 

5§ Competition time 06.09.2025 at 12.00-18.00.

Participants should be in port no later than 15 minutes after the race start time. 

6§ Skipper's meeting 

The skippers' meeting, where every skipper must participate, is 06.09.25 at 11.00. The skippers' meeting may supplement or amend these competition rules. The official competition time is stated at the skippers' meeting.

7§ Competition emblem

Participants will be given a competition emblem, measuring stick and flag in connection with the skipper's ceremony, which the skipper must return to the starting area no later than 15 minutes after the end of the official competition time. The absence of the competition emblem will result in a search of the competition area, the costs of which, if unnecessary, will be borne by the boat team. 

8§ Competition area

Participants will receive a map with the competition area marked. During the competition period, participants may not leave the competition area, nor meet other participants without the supervisor's permission, except in an emergency. At the end of the competition period, the participant must return directly to the starting point. 

9§ Fishing methods

All fishing must be done from a boat. Allowed fishing methods are all active rod fishing methods. The number of rods is open, but the number of pulls with hooks on the line is a maximum of two.

10§ Competition fish

Only pike are accepted. Minimum size 60cm. The fish are measured from the tip of the jaw to the tip of the compressed tail. The length of the fish is entered into the FISHY APP. FISHY.NU damaged fish, taken ashore, when the competition is over.
