Team competition for 1-3 participants. Max 1 rod/bait per angler in the water at the same time.
We count the total length of the 2 longest pikes and 5 longest perches in each team.
Minimum size pike 60cm and perch 30cm.
The competition is located at Hembygdsgården (Lugna Udden) where registration, start, finish and prize giving will be.
at 07:30 Registration and distribution of measuring boards.
at 08:30 Captain's meeting.
09:00 Start.
17:00 Finish and return of measuring board. (Measuring board not returned = 500 SEK)
Blackout period from 3:00 PM
All catch reporting will be handled via the Fishy app.
The fish should be photographed against the measuring board so that the entire fish and the measurement are clearly visible.
As this is a catch & release competition, the fish should be handled carefully and released as quickly as possible.
- • Fishing competition for pike and perch from a boat in Lake Västersjön and Lake Hennasjön.
• Only artificial baits.
• Catch and Release.
• Maximum 40 teams.
• Registration fee 500 SEK/team regardless of 1,2 or 3 people in the team.
• Team: 1-3 people per/boat. The entire team fishes from the same boat. Max 1 rod/bait per fisherman in the water at the same time.
• Trolling/Pulling allowed, however, 1 rod/bait per fisherman in the water at the same time applies.
• Competition hours 09:00-17:00, 2025-07-11
• Valid fishing license required. (Ramsjö FVO)
• Minimum length to report, pike 60cm and perch 30cm.
• Competition area = Västersjön, Hennasjön
• Measurement is taken against the measuring board, which is handed out at the captain's meeting.
• The fish is photographed from straight above lying on the measuring board with the nose against the stop of the board and the belly downwards. It must be clearly visible that the nose is against the stop (otherwise a 2 cm deduction is given) and that the length can be clearly determined. The fish is measured in whole centimetres and rounded down, i.e. 49.5 is 49 cm.
• You must not cover the fish's head with your hands or any hand on the tail fin, but only use one finger to control the tail fin. (Otherwise a deduction of 2cm will be given)
• The same fish may not be reported twice.
• It is permitted to keep the fish in a net or livewell until it has been approved by the competition management. The fish must be released immediately after it has been approved.
• The distance between boats when fishing must be at least 100 meters.
• Only registered participants are allowed to attend and fish in the boat.
• Live betting is not allowed during competition day.
