• Max 3 participants/team
 • We count the total length of the 5 longest pikes in each team, minimum size 60cm.
 • All teams must be registered on fishy.nu. All reporting will be handled via the app/website.
 • Only reel fishing, spinning fishing, jerk fishing is allowed, NO trolling, vertical fishing, etc.
 • Live donations are not allowed during competition day.
 • The result is based on length in cm and documentation is done by taking a photo against a measuring board. The centimeter is rounded down.
 • The competition takes place in Storsjön Ink Bäckesjön.

  The measuring board is placed flat and horizontal and the tail fin may be adjusted carefully with a finger but not pressed together as the fish may be damaged.

  When taking photos, it should be clearly visible that the nose is against the stop on the measuring board (otherwise a 2cm deduction is given) and that the length can be clearly determined.

  All photography is done via the Fishy Live app, which is available for download for both iOS and Android.

 • As this is a C&R competition, the fish must be handled carefully and released as quickly as possible.
 • A valid fishing license is required and FvO rules must be followed.
 • In the event of a tie, we will go for the team's longest fish
 • Participation in Storsjön Open is at your own risk.
 • Max 30 Teams
 • All team members must arrive at the beach along Storsjövägen (map available) before the start and check in and receive a measuring board no later than 07:50 when the starting shot goes off at 08:00. Reassemble at 15:30 at the same place as at the start where you return the measuring board and the prize giving will take place.

 • Between 11-11:45 there is a lunch break for EVERYONE (Reporting during this period will not count) where there will be the opportunity to buy a bun and a drink at the heudden (map is available on our Facebook page (1) Storsjön Open | Facebook).
