The rules for the competition:

- The 3 longest perch in cm wins. (If there is a tie, the longest fish wins).

- The fish is not approved if the tail fin is pinched.

- Only fishing with artificial baits from land (spinning/fly fishing).

- Walk, run, (Electric) bike, skateboard, inline skate, electric scooter, bus or subway.

- Active membership in the anglers' association.

- Fishing from private docks, private pontoons, docks that are fenced and closed to the public, and private land that is considered vacant is NOT permitted. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification from the competition.

-Hooks, lines and other equipment may not be thrown into the water or on the ground. They must be thrown into garbage cans or other suitable containers. Violation of this rule will result in disqualification from the competition.

- Late arrival back to the meeting point (2:00 PM) will result in disqualification from the competition.
