Competition rules:

Only perch counts.

Minimum length 33 cm. (Junior 28 cm)

5 longest wins overall.

All fish must be released back into the wild after registration.

The fishing area is limited to Steinsfjorden.

Only spinning or fly fishing (reel/multiplier/fly) is allowed.

Trolling is not allowed.

Only artificial bait is allowed.

Only allowed to fish with 1 rod at a time.

The use of a hanger or hoist with multiple hooks is prohibited.

Fishing ban for participants before the competition from 22.09.25.

All fish must be registered on Fishy.nu

All fish must be registered immediately after catch.

All fish must be recorded using the included measuring board.

Registered photo must clearly show the number on the board and the length of the fish.

The length is rounded down to the nearest whole cm.

The fish's snout should be close to the edge.

The belly of the fish should be facing the person measuring and taking the picture.

Maximum 1 hand (preferably none) on the fish, the hand must not obscure the view over the length.

The picture should clearly show the entire fish.

The scoreboard must be returned after the competition.

Everyone must wear a life jacket at all times.

The minimum distance between boats is 50 meters.

At the first anchoring (start) there is no minimum distance.

If you pass another boat at a distance of less than 50 m, the maximum speed is 5 knots.

We take into account and respect other fishermen and boats.

All fishermen travel at their own risk.

Drunk or under the influence people will be turned away.

Regarding crayfish plague, each participant is responsible for ensuring that they do not carry the infection with them.

General rules for fishing/traffic in Steinsfjorden apply.

Violation of the rules may lead to disqualification. Bad/incomplete photos may lead to length deductions or the fish not being counted. The organizer acts as a jury.
