Competition rules

    • Results are based on the 5 longest pikes

    • Minimum dimensions: 70 cm (rounded down)

    • Your own measuring board with a starting edge is required – folding rules or similar are not allowed.

    • Measuring board must be approved at start

    • Rear fin may be held together during measurement

    • Tag must be clearly visible on the measurement image – take good, clear pictures!

    • GPS position not required

Fishing Methods & Equipment

    • Only spinning fishing with artificial baits

    • Vertical fishing, trolling and live bait are not allowed.

    • Catch & release applies

    • Max 3 people per team/boat

    • Everyone on the team fishes from the same boat

    • 1 active rod per person

⚖️ In case of a tie

 If two teams have the same total length (cm), the team with the longest individual pike wins. If it is still tied, it is decided in order of turn based on the length of the second longest pike.

Rules and safety

    • Keep at least one cast-length distance from other boats

    • Current rules for each lake apply – read when you buy a fishing license.

    • Life jacket/floating garment is mandatory during transport

    • Participation is at your own risk.
