The Wilderness Säffle Trophy is a new trolling competition with ambitions! The competition is organized by Säffle Trollingklubb and will take place April 10-11, 2026! Säffle Trollingklubb has worked hard for the event, which includes a prize table via impressive sponsors and a first prize of SEK 50,000.

Swedish Perch Open 2025 is over – Tobbe Larsson takes it home again! Yes, another fantastic perch season for SPERO is over and it's crazy how many skilled perch fishermen there are in Sweden. An incredible 44 perch of 50 cm or more have been caught in the competition! The two longest are both 52 cm and were caught by Tobbe Larsson who once again took home the entire competition with a total of 509 cm on his 10 longest fish. The length Tobbe rowed the competition with this year is on par with what very few catch in a lifetime, 52, 52, 51, 51, 51, 51, 51, 50, 50 and 50 cm. So we pay tribute to you once again Tobbe, even for the fourth time in the history of the competition.

The Fishy app and admin system are being developed every month and are today perhaps Europe's most developed system for all types of sport fishing competitions. Registration for the Archipelago Drill in Valdemarsvik is now open! On October 18, village history will be written when the brand new competition, the Archipelago Drill, premieres in Valdemarsvik. The competition, which is run by the non-profit association of the same name, is a competition for anglers, by anglers.
