We have a winning team in the Swedish Ice Pike Open!

We have a winning team in the Swedish Ice Pike Open! Then the Swedish Ice Pike Open was over for the 2024-2025 season! For five months, the teams have been fighting for first place in Sweden's most difficult ice fishing competition. SIPO has engaged Sweden's most skilled ice fishers for several years and this year the teams have fished incredibly well.

The battle for the top spot has been between three teams for some time now, Vikapojkarna, Slaklina and Venjansfirren. In the end, we can conclude that Team Venjansfirren with Jonathan Matsson, Pontus Andersson and Andreas Holen takes home the competition this year. With a fantastic result of 610 cm divided into 129125121119 and 116 cm you beat the second, Team Slaklina with Anna Wiksten and Kjell Wiksten by six cm. Team Slaklina also managed to cross the magical 600 cm and finished with a total of 604 cm divided by 127121121120 and 115 cm.

In third place we find awesome The Vika Boys with Kalle Matsson, Lars Bysell and Magnus Smångs who fished a total of 596 cm. The longest catch of the competition goes to Oskar Renman who caught this beautiful dream pike of 129 cm (first caught, there is another one as long). All results are here, fishy.nu!
