Final - Crowd – B2B

Those of you who have managed to qualify for the finals of Kayak Fisherman of the Year are welcome to the final weekend in beautiful Vallebygden.
We compete for two days and the total length of 3 pikes and 5 perch counts.

In this year's finale, it will be back to the roots, namely Back to Basic – B2B!

To become Kayak Angler of the Year, it is not enough to be good at fishing, you must be able to handle different situations such as being versatile and broad in your fishing and we will test that in this year's final when the competitors will have access to a bait package with a twist. We will broadcast this live on Saturday 7/10 from 08:00. We will broadcast from the Gofish store in Skara.

There is also a ban on live donors.

When: 7-8/10 2023

Where: Skara - Skärvalångens water system. (Map will be handed out at the captain's meeting where it is clear exactly which waters we will compete in).

What: Back to Basic 3 Pike and 5 Perch total in two days.
We will be fishing in the beautiful lakes Skärvalången, Klemmen and the Baltic Sea. This has been adjusted, there will be info and a map at the captain's meeting.

NOTE: Mandatory captain's meeting at the Gofish store, which is also the main sponsor in Skara, at 8:00 AM on Saturday. (If you miss the captain's meeting, you will be disqualified, so be there by 8:00 AM at the latest).

Bait: You use your own claws, jig heads, stingers, etc. You don't need to bring any bait, it's included.

Accommodation: We live at the hostel and we have the entire hostel to ourselves. (Valle camping). There are a total of 18 beds. The rooms have their own toilet and shower. Pillows and duvets are in the rooms but bed linen is not included (can be rented). In the center of the house there is a large kitchen for self-catering equipped with stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and freezer and kitchen equipment.

For those of you who come with a caravan/motorhome, there are 4 parking spaces available most of the year from early spring to autumn and you pay directly to Linus/Åse. Nearby there is a service building with toilet, shower, washing facilities and a simple kitchen for self-catering. There is also the possibility of emptying the latrine. Fishing rules:
The fishing water is cancelled for fishing the entire week before the competition, meaning no preefish, that is.
Fishing ban: 30/9 – 6/10.
The competitors purchase their own fishing licenses.
Only hand gear fishing allowed.
Live sensor, electric motor not allowed.
Not allowed to bring your own bait. 

Checks will take place during the competition.
