Lower Glomma Gjeddefestival 2023 - Skjeberg JFF

Rules (Nedre Glomma Gjeddefestival 2023 - Skjeberg JFF)

All participants must physically meet at Furuholmen at 08:30 Saturday 2 September at the latest to receive mandatory information and skipper's meeting.
Everyone who fishes with modern aids such as Livescope, Mega Live or Active target MUST deduct this during the registration, and the teams will be drawn 10cm in total in the team competition in order to have the most fair competition possible. (There is no deduction for the individual competition where only the longest pike counts)
It is not allowed to have this type of aid available in the boat if you have not ticked the box for this in the registration form. If you are not going to use the scope during the competition, it must be physically removed from the boat BEFORE the competition starts.
All catches MUST be registered using Fishy's app and the assigned registration code you received when signing up for Fishy to be approved.
This is a pure C&R competition, so all pike must be released again after taking a picture and registering on the Fishy app.
You are allowed to fish with up to 6 rods per stretcher
It is not allowed to fish with methods other than fishing rods.
Fishing methods that are not approved in Norway are not allowed (live bait, pike shears, etc.)
Auxiliary equipment such as Paravan, deep rig and sonar are allowed, but everyone must act carefully and not "block" the water with equipment that extends far from the boat and is a nuisance to other participants.
When meeting from shore, only 3 rods per person are allowed
The fishing competition stretches from Vamma (Askim) to Opsundtangen (Sarpsborg).

NB! Due to the very high water level this year, we may limit the area somewhat for safety reasons.

Departure with boats starts after distributed information at Furuholmen at 9:30 a.m. and the boats must be inside at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the latest.
All pike shells are released immediately after measurement and photography. Pike that are not released will not count in the competition
In case of equal length in the competitions, the length of the next fish will decide who wins.

NB! Boats without approved flotation devices for all on board will be refused to participate in the competition
