Collection: 05:30 in Hagaparken in Hofors for pick-up of the measuring board, the competition is also Covid-adapted this year.
To begin with, read the rules carefully and the parking information on the website, this still applies.
However, we want everyone to remain in their cars in the morning and only the team captain leaves the car to pick up a measuring board directly upon arrival and then get back in the car.
We may be able to answer any questions quickly upon pickup if anything is unclear.
Then you wait in the cars until the start at six o'clock, the usual rules at the start apply, with stage 1 going first, etc.
If all teams are in place and have picked up their boards, the start may be a little before 6.
NOTE: All participants must be present at the gathering, otherwise it is considered cheating and the team will be excluded.
At the morning check, the team is excluded and is not even allowed to start.
Competition time: 06:00 - 17:00 (Darkness from 14:00)
Termination: 17:30 latest meeting in Hagaparken again. Late arrival means exclusion.

Measuring and reporting fish:
Pikes over 75 cm are approved to be measured and the sum of the team's 4 longest pikes is added together.
to a total sum. The pikes are reported in the competition app.
The pikes should be measured on a lying board and the tail fin must not be pinched.
Recaptured pike is NOT accepted.
Result update:
Results are reported continuously via the App, results are reported live via the Pike Fighten website.
After 2 p.m., the live update will be kept secret until the awards ceremony.
However, the teams continue to report throughout the competition.
If teams end up with the same final score, the largest fish is counted, then the second fish, etc.
In the event of the same length of the longest fish, the winner is the one who reported the fish caught first.
Prices:
Prizes are awarded to teams 1-3
Teams 1-5 win the opportunity to pre-register for the upcoming pike fighting competition.
After the competition:
Everyone should return as usual to return the measuring board. IMPORTANT that the measuring board is thoroughly cleaned on both sides.
Contrary to usual, we want to have as few participants as possible at the prize giving ceremony, which is why we will publish the final results immediately after the competition has ended so that only the top 3 and the participant with the longest fish of the competition stay for the prize giving ceremony.
Scoring rules
- Fish are scored based on length in centimeters.
