KinneKulleOnline KKO 2021

Rules (KinneKulleOnline KKO 2021)

The weekend 17 – 18 April 2021, so we only fish Saturday + Sunday at KKO 2021. In case of "extreme weather", the competition will be moved to the reserve dates, i.e. 24 – 25 April, any notification about this will be taken no later than Thursday evening 15 April.

Free Vänerhamn So you can start from exactly which port you want in Vänern, you can change ports on Sunday if you want. Think of it as "a normal trolling weekend" on Lake Vänern but with a competitive element - in addition, you are participating and contributing to more smolt in Kinneviken, Lake Vänern!

Start Start 00:01 each day, in other words you can start fishing as early as you want each day...

"Finish" The fish must be reported in the app no later than 17:00 each day. There is no requirement to be in port at any particular time, with the exception of fish who aspire to the competition's biggest fish, see more info below.

Score calculation Total length of a maximum of 12 fish (fin-clipped salmon or fin-clipped trout). A maximum of 6 fish may be reported per day. Minimum size for salmon and trout is 60 cm with "not pinched" tail fin according to today's current fishing regulations on Vänern, for the competition, however, 62 cm is the minimum size with "not pinched" tail fin. The length of the fish is rounded down to the nearest whole cm

Reporting All reporting takes place in the app"Fishy Live”, reporting may take place on the relevant day's catches between 00:01 – 17:00 on each day.

NOTE For Saturday's fish, you must cut off a piece of the upper tail fin (approx. 1cm) NOTE

ATTENTION !! Caught fish must be reported as soon as possible!! NOTE

NOTE It is recommended to update the app to version 0.7.0 (free, nothing complicated) NOTE

In the app, two pictures must be submitted (per fish), The fish must be fed and reported out on the lake.

Please indicate in the comments field for each reported salmon whether the right pelvic fin is clipped or not (=fish set by Fortum), this information is important for the administration!

1, Fish against measuring board (measuring board not provided) where you can clearly see the length. The measuring board must lie flat and be equipped with a "stop". The fish's nose should lie towards the "stop". The fish should lie with the head to the left and the belly down, it should be possible to see that the adipose fin has been cut in the picture.

As "measuring stickers" vary, the measuring load must be supplemented with a ruler. There are measuring stickers to pick up at Mariestads Marina if you are going to build your own measuring boards, thank you Svedea for these measuring stickers.

2, Posing picture on fish and catcher

All reported fish must be killed, see under "Other. best.”

Tip: If you don't have a "buying measuring board", you can easily make one from an angle fitting or bent sheet metal and a ruler, make sure the entire ruler is visible.

Biggest fish The biggest fish is decided by weight, as we have "free Vänerhamn" this is a challenge for both participants and organizer... We have so-called KKO ambassadors in a number of ports around the lake during the competition, it is these KKO ambassadors who weigh your big fishes on "approved scale for large fish registration". The KKO ambassadors are on site around 17:00 – 18:00 at the respective port, as SG Stéenson handles the approval of fish in the app, he will only be in Laxhall around 17:30.

Teams that fished fully, i.e. 6 approved fish, must immediately send a picture of the entire 6-pack to Sten-Gunnar Stéenson on 070-329 33 32.

Stéensson will do random samples so more teams will be able to send in pictures of today's catch!
