Swedish Perch Championships 2024 at Siljan - Dalarna!

The competition is open to qualified teams from DM, Swedish Perch League and Höstborren.

Training fishing:

Everyone who competes at our championships must have the same conditions, so fishing both as a team or individually is not allowed from 28/8 06:00 until the start of the competition on 7/9!

Staying on Siljan during this period is permitted, but no fishing rods may be in the boat. Put your fishing rods in the boat only when they are at the starting area!

Important information:

● Distribution of measuring boards and starter bag:

Captain's meeting:

● Arrive early as many boats will be launched!

● All boats must be at the starting area before the start!

● At least one person from each team must attend the captain's meeting - Missing a meeting will result in dishonor!

Safety and rules:

● A life jacket must be worn at all times on the boat, even when photographing catches (No life jacket - No approved catch).

● Livewelling of fish in the boat is not permitted! The fish can be briefly stored in a net outside the boat if registration cannot be done immediately after catch. The boat must not be moved at this time.

● Boat checks will take place both before the start and during the competition.

● Registration of fish takes place via the app Fishy.

● Minimum dimensions: 25 cm, mouth closed, downward rounding in cm, no folded fins and no hands on head or tail coil.

● Images saved on the phone cannot be used for registration! Change the camera resolution to avoid long upload times!

● The competition ends at 15:59:59. Registration of fish cannot be done after this time!

● Prize giving will take place at 5:00 PM at the competition office. Teams that are not back before 5:00 PM will be disqualified.

● Live sensors not allowed. Sensor cable sealed before start. Alternative for those who have the opportunity, leave them at home.

You can park your boats at the cottages at Leksand Resort, which are fenced.

Competition area:

Lake Orsa, Siljan, Byrviken, Österdalälven down to Gråda power plant, the lake.

Fishing license:

Fishing licenses are included in the entire competition area except Byrviken. If you choose to fish in Byrviken, a fishing license must be purchased via ifish here

SM Dinner:

On Saturday 7/9 at 7:00 PM you can eat a hearty meal from local producers at the campsite's restaurant Bäverhyddan. Dinner is included in the entry ticket. Stickoper plays in the beaver hut during dinner and a while into the evening. Make the weekend an experience for the era and for everyone's sake. Stay on Saturday night and hang out!

Other:

Control boats will be on the lake during the competition (marked with an orange flag). Drones will be used before, during and after the start of the competition!

SVT Minoritet will have a team outside the competition during the competition day, where the Swedish people can participate and influence that team through the DUO app.

The day will be filmed from both SVT and Eagle Fishing during the day. From lunch onwards, the competition will be broadcast live on SVT. If there is anyone who can think of having an extra young person on the boat filming, please let us know.
