Rules 2025

• The fish must be reported at the time of capture via the app's camera! You must not delay.

 • The perch must be measured against a measuring board with a so-called stop and photographed from directly above. Only one hand on the fish, but preferably none. No part of the hand may be near the head or tail coil. The fish may not be stretched in either the mouth or tail section, but the tail fin may be adjusted before the picture is taken. If stretching is suspected, the fish will be disqualified and the participant risks being suspended from the competition. In other cases of mishandling, a minimum of two cm will be removed or the fish will be washed.

 • Only reporting via the Fishy Live app is accepted. Fish can only be registered via the Fishy Live App and the app's camera function, images from other galleries cannot be registered.

 • The fish should always have its mouth to the left of the measuring board and its belly facing downwards, all cm measurements must be clearly visible. All cm are rounded down! Ie 49.5 is 49 cm.

 • An individual may only be counted once, so-called recaptures may not be registered!

 • When ice fishing in sub-zero temperatures, the fish must not be in snow or ice and the fish must always be scooped with water.

 • The 10 longest perch per person are counted in total!

 • Minimum dimensions 40 cm.

 • Competition period December 25, 2024 to October 31, 2025, only fish caught in Swedish waters can be entered!

 • Allowed fishing methods are: Ice fishing, reel fishing, and spinning and fly fishing (not trolling) from land or boat!

 • Only artificial baits allowed.

The competition management reserves the right to change or add rules at any time and for any reason!
