The competition is a DM and thus a qualification for the Swedish Championship next year.

The competition is organized by Orsa Fiskecenter and it's time to register your team! The competition uses the Fishy Live app and the Fishy competition system.

Registration:
The registration fee is 500:-/Team.

Teams may consist of 2-3 participants.
Since the competition is a DM qualifier, a Sportfiskarna member ID will be required to participate in the qualifiers.

Captain's meeting:
Will take place continuously where I will be on site from 6:30 in Rättvik's boat harbor to receive registration from the Captains as you arrive.
Then official measuring boards will also be distributed to each Team.
You can put the boat in wherever you want in Siljan. But registration will take place from Rättvik's boat harbor at 6:30 and onwards, where the start will also take place at 7:00.
The start will be from the water and it is not allowed to trail anywhere else. Wherever you want to go and fish, you must take the boat route.
If you want/need to launch in Rättvik, there is a nice ramp where you can launch for a swish fee (If I remember correctly, it is 50 SEK, which is enough for a day) there is information about it on site.
I recommend that you arrive well in advance because there is usually a queue, or alternatively, it is recommended that you find other docking locations so you can take the boat there.

Competition rules:
Fishing is conducted with one rod per person, but you can have more rigged in the boat.
Live donors (includes all donors in the same category) not allowed in this competition.
Reel fishing, spinning fishing, jerk fishing and fly fishing are allowed. (No trolling)
Only C&R is approved and we expect every fisherman to responsibly handle the fish as gently as possible.
The 5 longest perch are the competition size and the minimum size is 20cm.
2 photos must be taken of all registered fish. 1 of the fish and catch name and one with the fish against the official competition measuring board.
Where you can clearly see that the nose is touching zero and the tail is visible against the measurement. The tail may be held together if it can be done without hiding the fish too much.
The entire fish must be included in the photo and it must be clearly visible that the fish is the reported length.
If the fish is hidden too much by hands and it becomes unclear to assess the length correctly, the registration will not be approved.
The app also allows a 3rd optional image that can be used for social media. 

Competition area:
The whole of Siljan except for the side waters. (see Map posted in the Facebook group SPC - Siljan Perch Championship)
If you need to ride under a bridge etc., it is outside the competition area! (Except the bridges at Sollerön which are ok to ride under)
Fishing in Siljan-Rättviken FVO is included in the registration fee, fishing in other parts of Siljan is the fisherman's responsibility to ensure that the correct card has been issued.
