)1. General & competition format
● The competition is conducted as a team competition with 2-3 people per team.
● Catch & Release (C&R) is advocated
● All participants are responsible for knowing and following applicable fishing laws, local regulations and competition rules.
● The competition management has the right to make decisions on matters relating to the interpretation of rules during the competition day.
2. Participation, eligibility & security
● All participants must hold a valid membership in Sportfiskarna and have a valid fishing license.
● A life jacket or flotation device is mandatory for everyone in the boat throughout the competition.
● Alcohol and drugs have no place on the lake.
● Each team is responsible for having functioning communication.
● In the event of an accident or emergency, competition rules may be waived to save lives – the competition management must be informed as soon as possible.
3. Fishing, equipment & methods
● Only spinning fishing is permitted. Natural baits, trolling, and angling are prohibited.
● Only one rod per fishing person may be used at a time (more may be brought in ready-made tackle).
● Fishing is only done from a boat – landing is only permitted in emergencies or natural disasters.
● Unauthorized or protected areas are completely closed to fishing and may not be entered.
● Fragrances, only those sold in fishing shops may be used.
● Live technology not allowed.
4. Measurement, documentation & results
● Only pikes with a minimum length of 60cm are counted.
● The result is based on the team's 5 longest pikes
● Measurement is made in whole centimeters – starting centimeters are rounded down.
● The pike must be documented by photographing it on an approved measuring board, with its nose clearly facing the stop (zero).

The measuring board should lie horizontally on a flat surface.

● All registration must be done immediately in the competition's designated system or app.
5. Fair play, protests & penalties
● Fishing may not be conducted closer than 50 meters (approximately two cast lengths) from another team or their boat.
● It is forbidden to deliberately interfere with other teams.
● All catches should be handled gently and quickly to minimize stress and damage to the fish.
● Protests must be in writing and submitted 15 minutes after the end of the competition.
● Violation of the rules may result in points being deducted, the catch being disqualified, or the entire team being disqualified.
● The decision of the competition management is valid for the competition and cannot be changed afterwards.
● The measuring board must be returned no later than 5:30 PM, washed.
If GPS/location services are used, you should let the app send coordinates according to the app's settings, so that the catch gets the correct position linked to the registration.
