Now it's time for the Blekinge Pike Festival again. It is with pride that we at Mieådalens Sportfiskeklubb are arranging the 2026 edition, which is the 27th in the series. Competition days are September 26-27.

The Pike Festival has been the largest pike fishing competition in Sweden. During the Blekinge Pike Festival's heyday, a maximum of 600 fishermen participated and, just like now, they started from four different starting points along the Blekinge coast. The pike are measured, photographed and then released back into their proper element again.

In the individual competition, the person who catches the longest pike wins a walking prize!

Only pike over 75 cm are allowed to be counted in the competition. Our recommendation is that all fish caught during the competition are carefully released with the least possible impact on the pike population.

Blekinge Pike Festival follows of course  Pike Guidelines Blekinge , which are the County Administrative Board's guidelines for competitive fishing in Blekinge.
