Fishing From a boat.

Anglers sanctioned competition.

Qualification for the Swedish Championship 2027.
Top 20% qualifies for the Swedish Championship (rounded up, for example 16 teams = 4 places)

Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026
Competition time: 08:00-17:00
Deadline for registration: Thursday 29 October 23:59

Price: 750 SEK per team.
Location: Stäket SF's clubhouse. The piers at Uddnäsvägen 15 Järfälla.
Competition area: All of Lake Mälaren. NOT Garnsviken. NOTE: Common start in Stäket.

Ramps: There are 2 ramps right next to the starting point at Uddnäsvägen 1.
Parking: At the ramps there is space for about 20 cars with a boat. We have an extra parking space about 400 meters from the clubhouse that will be used if space is needed, please carpool if possible.

Rules:
The team's 5 longest Perches are counted.
Minimum dimensions 25 cm (rounded down).
Live donors NOT ALLOWED!
Fishing from a boat with artificial baits.
Rod fishing on the competition water is not allowed after Wednesday, October 28, 23:59.
2-3 people in each team.
A picture against the measuring board and a posing picture.
The head should be towards ”0” and the abdomen should be downwards.
GPS must be shared (only visible to the team and the competition management) and not to other competitors.
The numbers on the measuring board must be visible when taking photos of fish.
You submit the pictures and comment on the length of the fish, the secretariat sends "Ok" or "adjust picture". It is therefore okay to keep the fish in the water/net until approval has been given.
Life jacket/garment is a requirement.
Membership in Sportfiskarna is a requirement.

Generally:

Mandatory measuring board is handed out upon arrival.
Captain's meeting will take place on site at 07:40.
Joint start from the piers at a maximum of 5 knots until the clock strikes 08:00, after which speed restrictions and sea rules apply.
The competition management will be on site in Stäket's clubhouse throughout the competition.
Respect each other, keep at least one cast-length distance between boats.
Individual extra prize for the longest Pike in the competition, in cases of equal length the one caught first counts.
Darkness after 3:00 PM
The competition ends: 17:00. Any picture of a pike must be submitted before this time, so it is not enough to have "caught it" before 17:00.
Last time to return the measuring board 17:50
Award ceremony: 6:00 PM
