Information about the start on Saturday.

Everyone must be at Furuholmen no later than 08:45 to participate in the skipper's meeting which will provide mandatory information about the event.

You must also come by the secretariat in the morning and make sure that we have registered teams and people correctly, and show the VIPPS payment on your mobile phone.

Everyone brings a measuring rod and 1 sheet to record fish when registering on Saturday. Those who already have a measuring rod should also bring this so that we can stick tape with this year's color on it.

Competition rules:

     • Up to 6 rods are allowed per stretcher.
     • Fishing methods that are not approved in Norway are not allowed (live bait, pike scissors, etc.)
     • Pike should only be caught with a rod.
     • Paravan, deep-sea rig and echo sounder are allowed
     • When fishing from shore, only 3 rods per person are allowed.
     • The fishing competition stretches from Vamma (Askim) to Opsundtangen (Sarpsborg)
     • Boat departures begin after information is distributed at Furuholmen at 09:30 and The boats must arrive no later than 2:30 PM on Sunday.
     • All pike must be released immediately after measurement and photography. Pike that are not released will not be counted in the competition.
     • Lists will be distributed where participants indicate the length themselves. Large pikes (over 100 cm) should also have a posing photo with both fish and fisherman (and preferably weight).

NOTE: Boats without approved flotation devices for everyone on board will be denied entry into the competition.

The pike festival is organized under the auspices of the Skjeberg and Omnejd Hunting and Fishing Association.

The rules of good seamanship must be followed Safety is the participants' own responsibility.
