Information about the start on Saturday.

Everyone must be at Furuholmen no later than 08:45 to attend the skipper's meeting, which will provide mandatory information about the arrangement.

You must also come to the secretariat in the morning and make sure that we have registered teams and people correctly, and present the VIPPS payment on the mobile phone.

Everyone brings a measuring stick and 1 sheet for registering fish at registration on Saturday. Those who have a measuring stick from before also bring this so that we get tape with the year's color on it.

Competition rules:

 • You are allowed up to 6 bars per stretcher
 • Fishing methods that are not approved in Norway are not allowed (live bait, pike shears, etc.)
 • Pike must only be caught on a pole
 • Paravan, deep rig and sonar are allowed
 • When meeting from shore, only 3 rods per person are allowed
 • The fishing competition stretches from Vamma (Askim) to Opsundtangen (Sarpsborg)
 • Departure with boats starts after distributed information at Furuholmen at 09:30 and the boats must be inside at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the latest.
 • All pike shells are released immediately after measurement and photography. Pike that are not released will not count in the competition
 • Lists will be distributed where the participants themselves enter the length. Large pike (over 100cm) should also have a posing picture with both fish and fish (and preferably weight).

NB! Boats without approved flotation devices for all on board will be refused to participate in the competition

The pike festival is organized under the auspices of the Skjeberg and Omegn Hunting and Fishing Association.

The rules of the sea must be followed. Safety is the participants' own responsibility.
