We are running the same setup as the successful competition Höstpäddan 2020-2022 with about 70-100 teams, we do not gather before or after the competition.

INVITATION

NEWS: 

- Measuring boards to borrow from Stäkets SF

- We accept your own measuring boards if you cannot book an appointment to borrow a board.

- Come and borrow, must be returned after the competition, otherwise 500 SEK in fee.

- We ask that you send SMS/MMS on your measurement board so that it can be approved before the competition.

- You may use your own board if approved.

- Measure your board against a folding rule and have it approved by the competition management before the competition.

- For example, we have noticed that some unhooking mats can show an error of about 2 cm per 100 cm.

- NOTE! ALL FISH MUST BE MEASURED HORIZONTALLY.

• Via the Fishy app we can see that you are on Lake Mälaren. (We have chosen not to have exact GPS so that you do not reveal your spots) Only Calle and Andreas will have access to your GPS position which is not exact and differs by up to 1000 meters. We also require a posing picture, which is visible to everyone. So HIDE your surroundings when posing. 

• When measuring fish, you may have 1-2 hands on the pike. YOU MAY NOT squeeze the fin. The pictures that come in where we suspect that the fin has been squeezed. We will ask for a new picture. Submit a posing picture and a measurement picture of each fish. Posing picture visible to everyone.

THE REQUIREMENT FOR A FLOATING DRESS/LIFE VEST APPLIES TO THE ENTIRE COMPETITION AND NOT JUST WHILE DRIVING BY BOAT.

Competition Area: All of Lake Mälaren except where fishing is prohibited. Garnsviken at Sigtuna is not included in the competition.

Competition Time: 8-16 You can go to your "spot" before 8.00 but no fishing before 8.00

Fishing methods: Spinning/Fly fishing. One rod per person at a time. You may have more tackle. (NO LIVE BAIT)

Mini size: NEW!!!! 65cm, You measure your 5 longest pikes against the measuring board with your head to the left and your belly down. (ROUND DOWN)

How do you report your catch over 65cm?

IMPORTANT when reporting fish only allowed via the Fishy Live App. Pictures are taken directly with the app! We want 1 posing picture with all the fish, as well as a picture of the pike with a clear measuring board.

Once you have reported 5 fish, you only send in pikes that increase your total score.

All results will be visible in the Fishy App, as well as Fishy.nu (website).

Dark period last 2 hours. 

Results:

At the same height as another team, (e.g. 500cm)

The results are counted on the team that has the longest fish. If both teams have the same top pike, the second longest pike is counted, etc. If all 5 fish are the same length, the team that has its top fish reported first wins.

We cannot have a shared place as it is an SPL competition.

Prices:

Longest pike 2000 SEK (at the same length, whoever gets the fish first)

DRAWN PRIZE: 1 team will get their entry fee back.

As well as prize money for the top teams 1 to 5 TOP TEAM

All money goes directly to the competitors. (Any additional costs for arrangements will be taken out by Stäkets SF before the prize giving) Any winnings tax will be the responsibility of the competitor.

NOTE! The prizes will be SWISHED out to the competing teams, but may take about 3-5 days after the competition ends.
