Laxsjöns Sportfishermen invite to the Swedish Perch Championship and qualifiers for the Swedish Championship 2025

Competition info:

District: Värmland/Dalsland

Lake: Östra Silen - Signebyns Guest Harbour ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/A6DPYFDc49EL2HGt5 )

Fishing methods: Spinning fishing (including jig fishing and dropshot), reel fishing, jerk fishing, fly fishing and ice fishing are permitted. Natural baits, trolling or so-called hangers are not permitted.

Competition type: Team (2 or 3 participants)

Number of fish: The 5 longest Perch are counted 

Minimum length: 25 cm

Fee: SEK 500/team

Mandatory: Life jacket or buoyancy aid. Those with buoyancy aid will receive a sticker before the start! 

Deadline for registration: August 30th at 6:30 AM

Practice fishing: No practice fishing as a team or individually for those who will participate from August 22nd until the start of the competition on August 30th.

To have the opportunity to qualify for the Swedish Championships, all participants in the Team must be members of Sportfiskarna. 

The fish on the measuring board:

Wet the measuring board before shooting 

The measuring board should lie horizontally on a flat surface.

Nose towards zero

Dorsal fin "up""

No folded tail fin

The fish should be positioned so that the centerline is in the middle of the caudal fin.

The fish can be held with one hand during the photo shoot if necessary, but must not obscure any part of the perch's top or bottom.

No hand on head or tail coil/tail

The picture should be taken from straight above.

Deviations from the rules above will result in a deduction from the length!

Restrictions: 

Live transmitters not allowed!

Livewell not allowed to use!

The same fish cannot be registered by the team a second time!
