Åland 24 Hours Summer Edition 2026

C/R Pike fishing competition around the whole of Åland. 

Livescope fishing is prohibited throughout the competition. Participants must be able to demonstrate at any time during the competition that not Is there a live transducer in the boat?.

Participants may fish anywhere on any of the publicly available fishing license waters available via:

www.Ifiske.ax , www.fiskekarta.ax , www.kalakortti.com , www.visitaland.com 

ATTENTION! Participants must be able to show their fishing license at any time during the competition upon request by the competition management. 

Minimum dimensions: 70cm

The competition starts on Friday, June 12th, 26th at 4:00 PM and runs until June 13th, 26th at 4:00 PM.

The plank and competition badge will be handed out at Adlons Pizzeria & Sportbar on Thursday 11/6-26, at 16.00-18.00 as well as on Friday 12/6-26, 10:00-13:00.

Submission of cleaned and dry plank no later than 5:30 p.m. 13/6-26.

The award ceremony will take place at Adlons Pizzeria & Sportbar at approximately 6:00 PM on June 13-26. 

● 2-3 people per team. Participants must be in the same boat during the competition.
● One active rod per person may be used during the competition (spare rods may be available).
● The fish are measured and photographed clearly on the measuring board with the head against the stop and the right side of the fish against the board. The competition tag must be visible on the measurement image for the image to be approved. 
● The 6 longest pikes are added together to form the total score.
● If two or more teams have the same length on the total score, the length of the longest fish will decide, if it is also equal, the length of the second longest fish will decide, and so on. 
● If all measured fish are exactly the same length, the participant who caught the longest fish first wins. 
● The same applies in the event of a tie for largest fish. The participant who caught the longest fish first wins the largest fish prize.
● Participants are responsible for their own right to fish on the fishing waters and must be able to prove this if necessary.
● Participants are responsible for their own safety.

Scoring
  • Fish are scored based on length in centimeters.
In case of equal points
  • Determined by the largest fish counted.
