● Competition area: Vättern according to current regulations – water.org.
● Fish species: Salmon
● Minimum dimensions: 62 cm (tail fin not folded)
● Max catch/day: 6 pcs
● Gear: Max 10 rods & reels/boat, max 10 baits in the water (sparkling lures do not count), One hook per bait applies.
● Sledding: Flag/pennant mandatory.
● Communication: VHF channel 72 and in case of emergency, channel 16 is used (mandatory with VHF).
● Go ashore: If there is a need to go ashore for any reason during the competition period, it must be approved by the competition management at telephone number Henrik Strand 070–5177475, Jonas Neth 073–5460009
● End the competition early: The competition management at Henrik Strand is notified 070–5177475, Jonas Neth 073–5460009
⚖️ Weighing in
● Washers: 2 pcs/team
● 1 on the catch bag (left when weighed).
● 1 on the scoreboard by 3:45 p.m.
● Weighing in starts: Approximately 15 minutes after the end of the competition time
● Responsible: Pelle Henningsson, Jonas Neth, Morgan Stålknapp + representative from one of the teams
● Fish handling:
● The fish must not be frozen when weighed.
● All fish must be caught while trolling.
Points & Prizes
● Points system:
● 20 p / approved fish
● 10 p / kilo
● Prices:
● 1st place: 15,000: -
● 2nd place: 10,000: -
● 3rd place: 5,000: -
● Largest salmon: 5,000: - Alternative 2: 1:- per gram Alternative 3: 5,000:- + 1:- per gram over 5 kg
● Salmon closest to 4 kg 4000:- both Friday and Saturday
● Best team day 1, awarded at the second day's skipper's meeting

● Skipper's meeting Thursday 07.00 and other days 07.30.
Security & Controls
● Mandatory: VHF, life jacket/floating suit/life jacket, working mobile.
● Boat inspection: At least two boats/day are checked before starting (draw).
● Disqualification: If there are too many rods/reels or rule violations on the same competition day, the team will be disqualified for the entire competition. (Prohibited zone = rule violation)
● Minimum 2 people/boat required for participation
● Change of crew before and during competition: Must be reported and approved by the competition management.
● Competition jury: Competition management + 1 representative from the competing team. They decide on weather issues, protests, washing up.
● Participation: All participation is at your own risk, each participating team is responsible for their own safety, their boat, equipment and navigation during the competition. Participants must comply with applicable maritime regulations, speed regulations and ordinary requirements for good seamanship. The organizer is not responsible for damage to persons, boats or equipment that occurs due to the participants' actions or lack of boat condition/safety. The organizer is responsible for ensuring that competition rules and safety information are clear but is not responsible for risks that are normal during boating and fishing competitions.
Contestants that violate competition rules or applicable fishing and shipping regulations may be excluded. Competition management reserves the right to inspect participants' boats and refuse boats from participating.

Scoring
- Fish are scored based on weight in grams.
What counts?
- A maximum of 6 catches per team per day will be counted.
In case of equal points
- Determined by the largest fish – including uncounted catches.
