)General & competition format
● The competition is conducted as a team competition where each team consists of the number of people specified in the invitation.
● Only one class applies unless otherwise stated by the organizer.
● The competition is a Catch & Release (C&R) competition, which means that all fish must be released alive.
● All participants are responsible for knowing and following applicable fishing laws, local regulations and these competition rules.
● The competition management has the right to make decisions on matters relating to the interpretation of rules during the competition day.
Participation, eligibility & security
● All participants must meet the organizer's requirements for membership, license or equivalent.
● A life jacket or floatation garment is mandatory for all persons on board when fishing from a boat.
● Alcohol, drugs or other intoxicating behavior is strictly prohibited.
● Each team is responsible for having functioning communications (at least one mobile phone).
● In the event of an accident or emergency, competition rules may be waived to save lives – the competition management must be informed as soon as possible.
Fishing, equipment & methods
● Only spinning fishing is allowed.
● Natural baits, trolling, angling, fly fishing and hangers are prohibited.
● Only one rod per fishing person may be used at a time (more may be brought in ready-made tackle).
● Fishing is done from a boat unless otherwise stated – landing is only permitted in emergencies or natural disasters.
● Unauthorized or protected areas are completely closed to fishing and may not be entered.
Measurement, documentation & results
● Only fish that reach the specified minimum length are counted.
● The result is based on the team's 3 longest fish (number stated in the invitation).
● Measurement is made in whole centimeters – starting centimeters are rounded down.
● The fish must be documented by photographing it on an approved measuring board, with its nose clearly facing the stop.
● Pinched tail fin or hand/fingers on the tail coil is prohibited and may result in length deductions or the catch being disqualified.
● All registration must be done immediately in the competition's designated system or app.
Fair play, protests & penalties
● Teams may not fish closer than 50 meters from another team or their boat.
● It is prohibited to deliberately disrupt other teams or share information inappropriately during the competition.
● All catches should be handled gently and quickly to minimize stress and damage to the fish.
● Protests must be in writing and submitted within the specified protest time after the end of the competition.
● Violation of the rules may result in point deductions, disqualification of the catch, or disqualification of the entire team.
● The competition management's decision applies to the competition and cannot be changed afterwards.
Fishy Live is the competition's official app and should be used for all registration - each pike should be photographed and logged immediately upon capture (tip: make sure everyone on the team has the app installed so that the process goes quickly and smoothly).
If GPS/location services are used, you should let the app send coordinates according to the app's settings, so that the catch gets the correct position linked to the registration.

- Determined by the largest fish – including uncounted catches.
