Are you the best in Malmö? Compete for the title of King of the Channel in one of Europe's best perch waters!

The sport fishing giant and partners invite you to a street fishing competition between December 1st and March 2nd with the final on March 9th! King of the Canal is a street fishing competition for perch in the Malmö Canal arranged by the sport fishing giant.

New for this year is that all young people fish completely free of charge (0-16 years) and compete completely for themselves in the qualifiers, where the top 15 go on to the same final as the seniors. Even during the finals, the young people compete to become "Prince of the Canal", but are also of course included in the King of the Canal. This means that you can win both Prince of the Canal and King of the Canal!

The fee for the competition includes a measuring board that is mandatory to use, it can be picked up at the store, Lundavägen 56, Malmö. STORE OPENING HOURS are Monday - Friday: 10:00 - 18:00, Saturdays: 10:00 - 15:00 and on Sundays it is closed.

The competition constitutes a qualifier for a final. The fifteen (15) people with the highest points (15 seniors and 15 juniors) at the end of the qualifier will advance to a separate final on Sunday, March 9, 2025, when the results will be reset and the final will be held separately from the points scored in the qualifier.

NOTE - The competition is individual and not for teams.
