Gunki Iron Perch 2022 done!

Gunki Iron Perch 2022 is now complete! Jimmy Dahlgren became this year's supreme winner with 252 cm and also the competition's longest fish at a whopping 52 cm! That means an average of over 50 cm on the 5 longest fish, big congratulations!!!

In second place we have Jocke Grimberg with a fine 243 cm closely followed by Jörgen Quarfordt in third with 241 cm. In fourth place is David Nilsson with 238 cm and in fifth place Michael Frick at 214 cm. All results, pictures, etc. can be found at fishy.nu

The baits that really stand out among the registered fish are the crayfish imitations Hourra Craw and Boogie Craw, the skipbait Skipworm and the shad classic Bumpy, all of which delivered many and large perches in the competition.

Jimmy brings home a Gunki Stripes 2.28M/ML 3-15gr, a perfect rod for all imaginable finesse fishing such as down, drop shot, waky etc. For this Gunki's best reel Chooten Cut and a solid set of lures from GUNKI. Last but not least, Jimmy gets the opportunity to participate in an upcoming fishing report with Jan Olsson at Fish Eco next year. Of course, we also hand out a lot of prizes to the other top places.

Good fishing all participants in the competition and now it's just a matter of waiting for the 2023 competition which starts in March next year, stay tuned!
