Sommarborren – all of Sweden becomes a competition arena in July! July means perch hunting and in Sommarborren everyone can join. The competition runs throughout the month and it doesn't matter if you fish from a boat, jetty or land. The arena is simple, any Swedish water.
After registration closes, all teams will be divided into groups with a maximum of 25 teams per group. The grouping is completely random and is not affected by where in the country the participants live. The five best teams in each group will then qualify for the final which will be decided on August 15-16 (also in Swedish water of your choice).
In addition to honor and excitement, great prizes await, with the first prize being a whopping 20,000 SEK. But right from the start, all participants are guaranteed something extra as a lure from RenzStein is included in the starter package.
Here's how it works:
Sign up via thebig5.se, wait for the starter pack which will be sent out in two batches, choose your favorite water and head out. The catch is measured on the competition measuring board, documented with the mobile phone and reported via the Thebig5 app.
