Over the past two days, around 30 teams have competed and trolled for trout and salmon in Lake Vänern. The results of this summer competition were fantastic in several ways, both in terms of the number of fish and the size of the fish!
Several fantastic trout (farmed) were caught with a top fish of 10,160 grams! In total, over 60 trout were weighed in. Several nice zander and pike were also caught as bonus catches. Vänern will also receive a financial contribution, via the competition, for more smolt releases.
